Weather Update

Hey! Fun fact!

College is Busy!

So I haven’t been able to write as much as I would have liked during this month. So I’ll write a summary of everything that has happened to me since my previous post.

Unfinished drafts

Ok so I had started two drafts for two posts which I may or may not publish, depending on whether they are finished or not.

Looking back at the unfinished drafts I have lying around, I realize they are share something in common: they’re all too long. To be precise, the full contents of what I expect the posts to look like are over a hundreds of lines long, and I don’t dedicate enough time to them. Has anybody else faced this problem?

How’s the weather?

Oh yeah, I forgot to talk about the weather.

It’s windy. There’s a norte outside.

And it’s raging hard.

I am currently writing this blog post at 9pm, and as usual, the norte is at its peak during the night. That’s something I noticed when I was young, and so far this pattern has mostly held up. It may also be my confirmation bias only remembering the nortes which were most intense, though.

At noon, it rained during church service, and thankfully it calmed down after it ended.

Speaking of things that happened today…

The Narco is dead

In the morning, an operation was made to capture the leader of a drug cartel named Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG, for short), which apparently was successful. Its leader, “El Mencho” was taken to custody via a helicopter, where he died. Again, apparently.

I don’t know well the history regarding the war against cartels, but I do know what happened after his (current) death. Absolute chaos.

You can look it up on youtube, basically there has been various attacks and blockades across cities and highways, mainly on the states of Jalisco and Guadalaraja. Apparently, something called The Hydra Effect is hapenning at the moment, where beheading the head of the metaphorical hydra leads to new heads growing, as the leader that was attacked cannot take control of the body of the beast. I believe this event reveals how fragile organized crime really is, because the moment its leader died, the best they could do was disorganized crime across the country, just to recover the fear the cartel lost when news broke out. I mean, what does a COSTCO have to do with crime?

Right now, our only hope is in God delivering justice on everything. Vengeance is mine, says The LORD.

Something not gloomy

Hey wanna see a funny video to lighten the mood? Here it is.

Good night. Classes got canceled just in case things took a turn for the worse.
